Eldorado National Forest Meadow Trail Repair Volunteers Sought

Dear OHV Interests who like to ride on the Eldorado NF,

This alert about upcoming volunteer “alpine” trail repair/mitigation projects is really a great opportunity for OHVers to

celebrate getting these 42 meadow routes reopened after more than a two decades-long legal battle with preservationist

special interests who remain fixated on using the courts to close designated high-elevation and other OHV routes on the

Eldorado National Forest. For the past 20 years, the BlueRibbon Legal Team, with partners like the California Association

of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs, California Enduro Riders Association and AMA District 36, has been there through every brutal fight.

I will be there for the weekend of Sept. 15-17 with Del/Stacie at one or two of the other weekends. I hope to see many

of you there as we complete mitigation requirements on various routes so they can be reopened for OHV use. This is a real

honor for me to have the opportunity to work with the 4WD community on this very important project. See you there!
